Ashtamudi backwaters
Ashtamudi, the southern gateway to the beautiful backwaters of Kerala, is a unique wetland ecosystem that presents a panoramic view of the native Kerala life.

Thankasseri fort, lighthouse & breakwater
A historic place which was once under Portuguese rule. Here you can see ruins of an old Portuguese fort, a lighthouse and a church built in the 18th century.

Kollam Beach
The Kollam beach was once a busy port where Chinese ships and other foreign vessels came for spices and coir trade. Now it is a serene and laid back beach.

Vallikavu – Amritapuri Ashram

Ayiramthengu – Mangrove Forest

Munroe Island
Named after Col. Munroe, the British Resident of erstwhile Travancore. The Munroe backwater earned international recognition in the magazine, Lonely Planet.

Chadayamangalam Jadayupara
It is believed that the mythical bird Jatayu from the epic Ramayana collapsed on this huge rock in its attempt to thwart Ravana’s kidnapping of Sita.

Thenmala is India’s first planned Eco-tourism destination. It gained popularity owing to its unique vistas, bio-diversity, trekking paths, and mountainous terrains.

Krishnapuram Palace
The traditionally styled Krishnapuram Palace houses the largest single band of mural painting so far discovered in Kerala - the 49 sqm Gajendra Moksham.

Palaruvi falls
A picturesque waterfall cascading from a height of 300 feet. The water is believed to possess medicinal qualities of the herbal plants from the hills nearby.

Hanging bridge
This hanging bridge at Punalur is perhaps the only one of its kind in Kerala. This spectacular bridge was built by a Scottish engineer named Albert Henry in 1877.
