Spondylosis

Spondylosis
Duration: Minimum 14 & 21 nights recommended

Spondylosis refers to the degenerative changes in the spine’s vertebrae and intervertebral discs, commonly associated with aging. Over time, the bones and ligaments in the spine may wear down, leading to the formation of bone spurs (osteophytes), while intervertebral discs can degenerate and weaken, potentially resulting in disc herniation or bulging discs. These changes can manifest as lumbar spondylosis, affecting the lower back, or cervical spondylosis, impacting the neck region.

In Ayurveda, spondylosis is viewed as an imbalance in the body’s doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Treatment focuses on restoring equilibrium among these energies through personalized therapies, herbal medications, and lifestyle modifications. Specific Ayurvedic interventions for lumbar and cervical spondylosis aim to alleviate symptoms, prevent further degeneration, and rejuvenate the body, thereby enhancing overall health and well-being.
